Tertia
Here are the photos from last months SLC Sprints. The lot is portrait intensive as I was using Davey's T1i with a crappy screw on tele-converter I bought in a fit of newby confusion. At first I was pissed at the shitty image quality and resolution, but then I kinda dug all the graininess and vignetting cause it gives off the impression of real film.

Off the Bench, Playing Catchup
So here I am breaking a month of inactivity. In the unlikely event anyone was at all troubled by this cyber-sabatical, I'm sorry. Suffice to say I had my reasons. By way of recompense I offer my documentation of Luke Williams' show from last month at Kilby Court. Luke is one of SLC's many artistic gems, a self taught musician whose lyricism is unassumingly poetic and conveys a wisdom beyond his tender years. If you haven't already please listen to his EP from last year, Ancient Eyes. Mr. Williams co-opted friends and family to fill in during his set, then he took the stage again with Matteo, one of his several other musical endeavors, which is an engaging but subtle blend of acoustic and traditional Chinese instrumentation. Enjoy.
